3 Things To Do This Week To Get in The Festive Mood

Hi everyone!

The sparkly Christmas lights are up, the markets are here and the festive magic is in the air. It is definitely time to kick start the festive season and embrace all things Christmas. This year I will attempt to do Blogmas (which I know it is a tough challenge for a young blogger). But I love Christmas, so I want to share with you the joy it brings me.

To get in the festive mood, ahead of all the festive posts, I’ve put together three of my favourite things to do to get in the festive mood.

1. Visit a Christmas Market

The markets are all here and it is so exciting! I love browsing the Christmas markets, walk through the fairy lights and find new bits and bobs for my tree. Or amazing and unique gifts for my friends and family. They are also a great opportunity to discover new local artisans and have a glass of mulled wine.

2. Go Ice Skating

I am absolutely the worst ice skater in the world. But there is something so magical about the white ice and everyone’s laugh. So even though I am terrible at it, I love to attempt it every year. It’s a great date night (if you are stuck for ideas) or a fun outing with friends. My best advice is to go and have fun. Don’t feel pressured to actually skate, if you are not good, but still enjoy watching everyone while sipping on a hot chocolate. If you are a good skater, be kind to your less talented friends and give them some of your tips to enjoy the ice.

3. Watch a Christmas Film

Whether you are saving this one for a ‘me time’ session or a girls night there’s nothing that will get you more in the Festive mood than a Christmas rom-com. I must admit I tend to watch these by myself, with a glass of wine and a face mask. A.k.a. my perfect evening – not going to lie. But it’s also the perfect excuse to get your girls around for a catch-up and beauty treats.

Have a fab week everyone.
Love,
Carolina
